Jason Dovel is a trumpeter, educator, and composer. Since 2013 he has served as trumpet professor at the University of Kentucky (UK). Prior to his appointment at UK, he taught at Northeastern State University, the University of North Texas, and North Central Texas College. His compositions and arrangements are published by Prestissimo Press and Hickman Music Editions.
