Six Labyrinths

Flashy 7-minute competition-style trumpet ensemble piece for ten players. This piece exhibits both classical and jazz elements, and is written in six sections, as the title suggestions. As recording by the University of Kentucky Trumpet Ensemble on the "Labyrinths" compact disc in 2023. The first part has "extreme" demands in terms of range, but plenty of rest between the sections so endurance should not be a problem. One of the trumpet parts (trumpet 9) requires improvisation.
